Resident Bea Espinosa, warmly expressed her appreciation for her new home at Socorro after living for decades on her ranch on Trujillo. Socorro Senior Living was made possible through funding from the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development and Urban Development's Section 202 Program, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka, Vectra Bank Colorado, the Colorado Division of Housing, Energy Outreach Colorado, and a land donation from the Archuleta County Housing Authority. The Housing Solutions For the Southwest acknowledged the work of their late Board Chairman, Gene Crabtree for his passion for this community and his dedication to meet the need for affordable housing.  Continued...
